THE SOUL SANCTUARY: A PATH TOWARDS HEALING AND WELLBEING
No matter what your personal struggle is, therapy can help you to gain fresh insights and new perspectives, and ultimately help you to move towards living a more fulfilling life.
Mental health matters - begin your journey towards inner healing and wellness
Taking the initial step towards seeking therapy can be both difficult and daunting. I provide a supportive and non-judgemental environment that will allow you to engage in developing a greater understanding of yourself and others so that you can enjoy a more meaningful and positive life.
About me
I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist, having completed my training at University College London (UCL). I am also a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) - a statutory regulator of health care professionals within the UK, and The British Psychological Society (BPS).
I have previously worked in a range of NHS settings, including both community mental health teams and hospitals. I also have experience of working with a spectrum of psychological illnesses, ranging from moderate levels of distress to more severe and chronic mental illness..
Treatment Areas & Therapeutic Approach
My approach is relational – I work with clients in a way that aims to help them explore the world from their perspective so as to facilitate insight and self-actualisation. I favour an integrative model, incorporating psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches into my practice. However, I am also able to offer more specialised and focussed interventions depending on client need. Working with diversity is highly valued, alongside a commitment to supporting clients from a wide range of ethnic, cultural, religious, and sexually diverse backgrounds in a manner that is both validating and supportive.
I work with adults (18 years +) in relation to the following issues:
Anxiety
Burnout & work related stress
